I have a 4-year-old Bloomenweiller bitch experiencing seizures. They started in December, occurring about 4 weeks apart but have increased significantly, with 4 seizures in 24 hours 9 days ago and 5 seizures in 17 hours yesterday. She is on Lamictin 25, 2 tablets twice daily, and seizures occur without warning, even while she is sleeping. She recovers quickly without after-effects. I've read about Phenobarbital. Could that be a solution?

My sheepdog yelps in pain when he drops his head to eat or pick up food, and also when he is just lying down. He can get up OK and does not seem to have trouble moving around. He may have an ear infection but has never had these symptoms before. What could be causing this?

Our male German Shepherd is very defensive and aggressive towards strangers, barking and standing defensively at the end of our driveway when they pass by. We are unsure how to address this behavior, especially since he was believed to have been abused as a puppy. Can we change his behavior towards strangers at 4 years of age, and is a shock collar a viable option?

My mini dachshund accidentally ate our other dog's incontinence medication. She's thrown up twice. Should we call the vet?

My 5-year-old Great Dane has a 7mm lump on her hip. The vet found red blood cells and fibrocytes (homogeneous in appearance) during a needle aspiration and suspects hemangiopericytoma. What other conditions could present with red blood cells and fibrocytes, and is there a way to confirm the diagnosis without surgical removal? Are there alternative treatments for hemangiopericytoma?

Our 7-year-old beagle, Abby, has been experiencing intermittent distress and discomfort for the past few days, characterized by a tense and sensitive abdomen, shivering, panting, and vocalizing. She has a good appetite and no vomiting or diarrhea. What could be causing her discomfort, and what steps should we take to monitor and potentially treat her condition?
