My dog is picking up and eating bird feathers. We live at the shore, so there are lots of feathers around. We have had her only 8 weeks, rescued from a hoarder, so I don't know if there is a deficiency there or not. Had her checked out by a vet when we got her; but she was eating feathers then. What should I do?

My border collie's paws have areas of raw tissue, similar to blisters, on his front and back left paws, and now another area of dry (dead) skin has appeared on his right back paw. The only change is his diet, from beef mince with rice and mixed vegetables to lamb mince. Can you help?

I am changing my dog from a homemade diet to a high-quality kibble. She had issues with kibble as a puppy but is now transitioning slowly. She has had loose stools for the past two days after increasing her kibble intake to 1/3-1/2 cup. Should I continue feeding the kibble, assuming it's just her adjusting to the new diet?

She was spayed recently and has been tested for parasites, which were initially found but not in subsequent tests. She only wants to eat Beneful dog food. What should we do to address her diarrhea and transition her to a different diet?

My dog is on Frontline Plus, but it doesn't seem to be working. She is scratching her belly till it bleeds due to fleas and ticks. What else can I do for her to relieve her itching and prevent further infestation?
