My 11-year-old dog, Tootsie, fell from shoulder height onto her head and back on concrete. She seemed a little stunned initially but has since acted normally, eaten a little, not vomited, has equal and reactive pupils, and has a cold nose. She has a heart murmur and weighs 14.5 pounds. Is it safe for her to sleep and play normally, and what should I monitor for?

My dog, Teddy, a 3-year-old, won't stop biting his tail, which is matted and very red, possibly a hotspot. He has been doing this for about 2 to 3 days. Additionally, we found his fecal matter with maggots under the bed yesterday. We've tried telling him to stop and giving him treats, but it seems he can't control it. We also placed a cone on him this morning, but he's uncomfortable. What could be causing this behavior, and what should we do?
