I have a 9-year-old dog named Benny who has shown significant behavioral changes over the past week, including reluctance to jump, increased clinginess, restlessness, constant panting, refusal to go outside, and disorientation. Despite a vet visit with bloodwork, X-rays, and medication for a suspected muscle strain, his symptoms persist. His stools have been looser than normal, and he sometimes digs for rabbit droppings in the backyard. What could be causing these behaviors, and is there a way to manage this condition?

Benny's symptoms suggest a possible brain disorder (encephalopathy) rather than just a muscle strain...

My 7lb, 8-year-old Yorkie mix named Lyla ate a few leaves of a pothos plant earlier today. She vomited and seems fine now, but I'm concerned about potential toxicity. What should I do?

My two-year-old Shih Tzu, Piper, has been unwell for a few days. She is drinking and eating but has become picky, occasionally lethargic, and has been vomiting and experiencing diarrhea. My other Shih Tzu is also showing similar symptoms. Could she have eaten something unusual? What should I do?

My 4-year-old Lab named Prince is not eating much, lethargic, and has raspy breathing. He is not in pain and has been like this since Saturday or Sunday. What could be wrong and what can I do at home until I can take him to the vet?

My friend's dog, Rocky, a 7-year-old, won't get up and can't move his legs. He is alert but his eyes look paranoid or guilty, and he keeps moving his head up and down. What could be wrong and what should I do?

My dog, Remi, an 8-month-old Bulldog, is limping and has a swollen leg with cuts and dried blood. I suspect he might have been hit by someone or something. What can I do to help him at home since I don't have the money to take him to a vet?
