I have a border collie that does not like people on first introduction but has warmed up to new people. My father had to move in with us three months ago due to age, and I can't get my dog to warm up to him at all. I have tried training, a DAP collar, and a coke can with pennies to no avail. We are at a loss and she can't spend all her time locked up. My vet does not want to give her medication. Is there anything else I can do?

I have a 20-month-old Spoodle named Pebbles who refuses to drink water during long trips. We recently took a 7-hour trip, and despite stopping and walking her several times, she didn't drink or pee. I'm concerned because we plan to become grey nomads next year, and this issue worries me. Can you suggest a solution?

My 4 Yorkies have been passing around 'pink eye' (conjunctivitis) for several weeks. I mistakenly used Quadrotopic ointment, which is not an ophthalmic medication, on one of my dogs. I immediately flushed his eyes out. What should I do now?
