My 9-month-old pit bull, Oc, has been pooping red jelly-like stool since yesterday. She hasn't vomited and has lost her appetite. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog had constipation for two days, now he finally pooped. But now he has a cut/hole next to his butt hole. So I think he may have ruptured an anal gland. I clean what I could and put saline and anti-bacterial cream on it. He doesn’t seem to be in pain. Should I keep trying to clean it and see what happens over time?
