I am caring for my son's family dog, Boomer, a 13-year-old male Shih Tzu weighing 14 lbs. Boomer was prescribed Cerenia 16mg (1/2 tablet every 24 hours) and Metronidazole 250 mg (1/2 tablet every 12 hours) after becoming sick. He is currently experiencing difficulty breathing, with gasping and gurgling sounds, especially after minimal activity. He is resting and breathing slower but still has gurgling sounds. There are no wounds on his feet, he has a few lumps on his back that have been there for a while, he is eating very little, drinking a lot of water, and is blind in his right eye. What should I do to help Boomer?

My golden retriever was chewing aggressively on a nylabone when he started coughing and gagging, which has been sporadic since last night. He eventually vomited, but it was dry and thick like mashed potatoes. He is now resting and quiet. When should we take him to the vet if at all? Anything we should be doing?

My 3 dogs have woken up lethargic, with no strength in their legs and tails down, but their noses are wet. I fed them 1/2 teaspoon of yogurt yesterday, which is the only thing different. Any suggestions?
