I have a dog who got out of the yard and came back with a large puncture wound. It's no longer bleeding, and I've applied Vetericyn and hydrogen peroxide. Can you prescribe antibiotics?

My 4-year-old Pomeranian, Lily, is experiencing intermittent pain, characterized by crouching while walking, difficulty lying on her stomach, and periods of immobility lasting 30-45 minutes, followed by a return to normal behavior. She has a history of eating lizards, her appetite has decreased, and she has been straining to defecate with firm stools containing grass. My dog, Romeo, keeps licking his anus and has small lacerations there. There is no bleeding but a clear fluid is oozing, and there is minor swelling. He had colitis before but is now eating and pooping normally. What could be causing this and how can I help him heal?

My Yorkie, Daisy, has a dark spot on her vulva. The vet mentioned it could be melanoma and suggested a biopsy if it changes. I read that most melanomas in dogs are benign. Is that true, and is it normal for such a spot to appear suddenly?

My 14-year-old Maltese dog, Bubbles, has been diagnosed with ITP and has low red blood cells. She has been experiencing symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and has had dark stool and blood in her vomit. She has been receiving transfusions and is currently on several medications including sildenafil, pimobendan, prednisone, mycophenolate, omeprazole, CERENIA, metronidazole, metoclopromide, and sucralfate. Her platelets dropped to 0 after starting plavix, and her red blood cell count has been fluctuating. She recently stopped breathing during sleep and required emergency intervention. What are the next steps for testing or treatment to address her condition and prevent future episodes?
