Hi:<br/>I noticed this past week that my dogs' urine smells stronger than usual. I have 5 of them. Nothing has changed. I feed the same food as always but the only thing different are the treats. I have been giving them Milk Bone Trail Mix. They drink plenty of water.

I have a 7-month-old Shih Tzu named Bella. She experiences episodes once a day for 3-4 hours where she shakes, refuses to move, and stares with a frightened look. These episodes can occur at any time and last for a short duration. I have taken her to the vet twice, but no cause has been found. I stopped giving her eggs for breakfast, which seemed to help for a while, but the episodes have started again. What could be causing these episodes?

I have a 3 1/2-year-old Basset hound who has been pacing, irritable, and straining to defecate with slight diarrhea since Friday. He has a good appetite but could drink more water. He sometimes cries when trying to go down stairs and paces for hours before tiring himself out. What could be causing this and should I take him back to the ER?
