I have a seven-year-old German Shepherd named Koda. He recently experienced a sudden episode where he lost use of his hind legs and was flopping around under my bed. After calming him down, he seemed to snap out of it and returned to normal behavior. Koda has had sniffles or reverse sneezes for about six weeks, which the vet wasn't overly concerned about. He had another seizure on August 20th but has been fine since. What could be causing these episodes, and what should I do next?

When my dog lies on his back, I can feel a bone-like circle in the middle of his rib cage, which seems to be where the sternum ends or the xiphoid process is. Should I assume this is the xiphoid process, or would I not be able to feel it if it is?

Our dog is running a high temperature and we need advice on temperature-reducing products, as well as ongoing necessary or beneficial treatments that could improve his quality of life, increase his lifespan, and protect him from any likely complications or outcomes from a black cobra snake bite 12 months ago.

My dog had oral surgery yesterday with cauterization of an oral tumor. He was given aspirin for pain but cried non-stop, so we gave him acepromazine to help him sleep. He is now groggy and whiny, and we are waiting to give him tramadol. Is it safe to give him tramadol, and would it sedate him too much?
