My 80-pound, 7-year-old dog named Romeo ate 2 Snickers bars from the counter. Is there any risk of toxicity or adverse effects from the chocolate?

My dog, Scooter, has Flea Allergic Dermatitis and is currently on Nexgard prescribed by the Pet Vet at Tractor Supply. I would like him to be on Simparica instead, as he seems to do better on it. Can I ask the veterinarian to prescribe Simparica for him next time I see her?
