I have two 15-week-old English Bulldogs with intermittent diarrhea, which has been more persistent lately. They are fed twice daily and given Pectin after each stool. My husband found a worm in the stool two weeks ago. They are active and not in distress, but I am worried. They are up to date with immunizations and came from a reputable breeder. No change in their food. What could be causing the diarrhea and what should I do?

My 12-pound dog is constipated, was vomiting and nauseated, and is a bit shaky. I've given Gas-X a few times today, which helps produce gas. Can I administer Colace? The dog ate rice, chicken with squash and zucchini (about 6 tablespoons) 2 days ago and had sweet potato mashed the day before. The dog's name is Ralphie, and there is nothing else the veterinarian should be aware of.

My miniature schnauzer has broken the rightmost toenail on his left paw after walking on new snow. The toenail is longer than the others and is dangling loosely.
