I live in an assisted living facility, and my dog, Katie, who will be 14 in two weeks, has been nipping at certain people who come into my room, sometimes turning aggressive after treats. This behavior started about three months ago when I was hospitalized and she was taken to my brother's house. She doesn't seem bothered by my oxygen tank, but she lunges, barks, and snaps at the girl who picks up my trash. What can be done to address her protective behavior?

Our 3-year-old Beagle, Winston, ate a small chocolate edible containing 15mg of THC. He has thrown up twice, 30 minutes after consumption, with some of the edible and part of the wrapper coming back up. Winston weighs 30 lbs and it has been 45 minutes since he ate the chocolate.
