I'm researching various treats for my dogs. A new treat I'm trying is a drink mix treat for their water. One dog especially does not seem to drink nearly enough water. Both dogs are on dry kibble diets. Grain-free premium kibble. I'm looking for ways to add more moisture to their diets. When I use the drink mix treat, he really enjoys his water and easily drinks 8 oz at a time. Anything that I should be concerned about?

My dog sitter gave my dogs (a golden retriever and Husky/shepherd mix) turkey bones from the pet store. I came home and found one of them had soft stools with blood and bone pieces in the vomit. Should I watch for symptoms and if they worsen take to the vet, or is there something a vet can actually do outside of monitoring?

My dog, Coco, is a 12-year-old Papillon/Pomeranian cross who has been experiencing symptoms including picky eating, not drinking, shaking, panting, agitation, and aimless wandering. She is blind and has been on Tramadol and gabapentin for pain due to a slip on the ice. The vet diagnosed her with arthritis, but she shows no signs of pain when touched. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My 15-year-old black lab, Diego, suddenly started barking as if hurt, then ran around the house uncontrollably for over an hour, panting and unable to be consoled. He was also bleeding from his paw, but it seems he scratched it. What could have caused this behavior, and what should I look out for in terms of envenomation or other health issues?

Hi, my dog, Jax (4 years old), has not eaten normally in about a week. He has been throwing up, constipated, and finally had a loose bowel movement yesterday followed by eating, but now he threw up clear foam with small blood clots. He is also acting strangely and has started sleeping in a different spot and acting differently towards his owners. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him?

Hello! The neighbor's dog has caused an infestation, and our little inside dog gets eaten alive when she heads out to do her business. After giving her a bath and putting some neosporin on some broken skin, I gave her some Benadryl but I'm quite nervous. It's a children's formula. She weighs about 10 pounds, and I administered about 2.5 ml. What is the dog's name and age? Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Sookie? Do you think the Benadryl will help with the skin allergies as well? I have been considering getting Sookie a prescription of Trifexis or Nexgaurd to help with the flea problem, but I have noticed that in dogs who have been taking that medication for extended periods of time have all developed severe cases of pancreatitis. In two of those cases, the dogs ended up passing away. Is there a link between those medications and the disease? Is it safer to stay away from those kinds of medications?
