I recently took my healthy 14-year-old basset hound, Penny, for a check-up and the vet prescribed furosemide and enalapril. In the past three weeks, Penny has lost 4 lbs, her appetite, her strength, and has developed bloody diarrhea. She also does not drink any water. Can I safely stop these medications immediately?
