🐕  Dog Health

I took my 11-year-old Chihuahua, Peanut, to an ER clinic in Grand Terrace, CA, due to a concerning goose-like hacking sound in his breathing. The clinic charged $366 for the visit and medications, but I am dissatisfied with the treatment received. The staff did not allow me to be with my dog, and the veterinarians did not provide a clear diagnosis or treatment plan. They mentioned an enlarged heart and liver but did not offer a clear course of action. The prescribed medications were Clavacillin Suspension, Vetmedin Pimclo, and Temaril-P. Additionally, I am concerned about the cost and the lack of transparency in the services provided. What should have been done and provided to Peanut during the visit?
