I just adopted a senior dog who was exposed to kennel cough and now she is having a difficult time breathing. She was ok when we brought her home on Sunday, but today it has been difficult for her all afternoon and evening. She is breathing through her mouth which seems abnormal. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Today, it became cloudy and she blinks rapidly when I try to look at it. I’ve been wiping her eye with a warm wet cloth and putting genteal drops in it. What could this be and what should I do?
