Is Previcox safe for my 15 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel? He is 11 years old and was prescribed Previcox for a limp. He has never been on pill therapy before. He started with 3/4 of a 227 mg pill, but 5 days later, he is shivering, more lethargic, and seems depressed. Is he just getting used to the Previcox? How can he have a slight limp and then take this medicine, and now has arthritis? Is it a coincidence, or is the medicine causing these issues? What would you do in my situation to treat my dog?

My dog drank three slurps of RV antifreeze the other day. He didn't seem drunk or anything. I got him lots of regular water and all seems good. More than 24 hours later. I am wondering if I should have done more. Any help would be appreciated. I saw the words non-toxic and figured that it was safe. However, I've seen posts that indicate otherwise. Please help.

I have an American Bulldog mix with severe allergies. She is on Prednisone to control her constant itching. After starting Dinovite, a food supplement for allergies, she broke out in hives. My vet recommended Benadryl for three days and mineral oil to block the histamine reaction. I stopped the Dinovite and followed his instructions. The hives cleared up, but they have returned. Nothing in her diet or environment has changed. I restarted Benadryl. What could be causing the hives to return, and what should I do next?

I have a 5-year-old, 20lb Papillion male dog. For two days, he has been lethargic, won't eat his dry food but drinks water, threw up clear sputum last night, appears constipated, and his nose is warm to the touch. Any suggestions?

I have a 6-year-old Boston Terrier with a sore shoulder from being picked up too much by the arm pits. He yaps when he exerts too much pressure on it. Will baby aspirin help and how much? Should I make him swallow it like a vet would or should I put it in a ball of dog food?

My 5-year-old Maltese had diarrhea and was taken to the vet. The vet found a small amount of protein in his urine, which they said is not a concern but something to watch. They also prescribed a probiotic paste called ProGut Oral Paste. What does the protein in the urine indicate, and what is the ProGut Oral Paste for?
