Is there any over-the-counter pain medication I can give my 80lb yellow lab named Scout, who is 11 years old, for his back legs and lower abdomen pain? He is whimpering and having trouble getting up, and I can't get him to a vet until tomorrow.

My Blue Heeler/Rat Terrier puppy has been digging at her ear and there is swelling under her right ear. I noticed the swelling last night when trying to clean her ear with witch hazel. She doesn't lick the skin but licks her paw after scratching her ear. What should I do?
