Is there any possibility that my dog's breeder could be responsible for a torn ACL in my dog, or is there a predisposed condition that could make her more prone to this type of injury? My dog was injured at 5 months old while roughhousing with adult Border Collies.

My 11-year-old female lab cannot get up and cries when touched in her midsection. She barely managed to get up, whined when she moved a few steps, and then went down again. She won't drink water, and I'm unsure how to get her to a vet. What could be wrong with her other than just old age?
