My 1-year-old 7 lb dog chewed through a soft, sticky tape used to attach a cord cover to a lamp. I'm unsure if she swallowed much of it and am debating whether to induce vomiting at home or take her to an emergency vet. Is there a safe way to induce vomiting at home, and what precautions should I take?

My dog, Stormy, was hit by a car and can't move her hips or back legs. There are no 24-hour vets available in Va Beach, VA. What should I do? She won't eat or drink, her nose is wet, and her mouth is not white, but she is very injured. Her back leg has a laceration and is bleeding. There are no emergency vets open tonight or taking walk-ins.

My dog, Malachi, an 8-year-old 20lb dog, drank some hot chocolate with milk about an hour ago. It wasn't a lot, but I'm concerned. I tried to induce vomiting with hydrogen peroxide but couldn't get him to drink it. What should I do?

My two 10-pound dogs ate a couple of pieces each of Orbit strawberry gum containing xylitol. What should I do to ensure their safety, and how can I manage the potential financial burden of emergency vet care?

My girl pittie has been experiencing issues with her anal glands, including excessive licking, biting at her tail, difficulty pooping, and excessive fluid leakage from her anus. She has not been scooting but seems uncomfortable. What is normal in terms of anal gland secretion, and what should I do to help her?
