I put them in hot water, but it’s been a few hours and they are still swollen. He’s walking fine and isn’t licking the swelling. What else should I do?

Our dog, Murphy, aged 1, has been throwing up small amounts of stomach bile throughout the day. He threw up a toy he had eaten on Monday but seemed to recover within 24 hours. We have been switching his food between regular and easy digest food recently. Could this be causing his stomach upset?
