My 1-year-old dog, Nash, has had diarrhea for a week and is not eating much today. He has not vomited and there is no blood in his stool, but there might be mucus. He has an increased urge to defecate, often producing loose stools. He has been on the same food for months and there is ongoing construction at home, so it's unclear if he swallowed something he shouldn't have. Should I take him to the vet?
