My 1-year-old German Shepherd, Maggie, occasionally acts like she is clearing her throat and has a reflex to heave, as if something is stuck in her throat. She is active, her eyes are bright, and she is drinking water, but she is eating less and being picky about food. There is no foaming or actual vomit, and she has been able to eliminate waste normally. Should I be worried, and what could be causing this?

My dog, a corgi mutt named Rocko, had Perineal Urethrostomy surgery about 10 months ago when he was a year and a half old. He has recovered from the surgery and is eating Royal Canine urinary SO food. However, he has no control over when he urinates and leaks wherever he sits or lies down. Is there anything that can help with this?
