My 10-month-old German Shepherd mix puppy makes a sound like she has something stuck in her nasal passage or throat when she's looking down/smelling. It started this morning and sounds like a pig snort. What could this be and what should I do?

My friend in CA is having financial difficulties and can't afford the expensive glucose checks and curves for her diabetic dog, Woodstock, who has been blind for years. She is currently using Vetsulin and monitoring with pee syrups. Is it possible to get a prescription for insulin through this service?

My American Shepherd dog, Kheaven, chewed on a small, old reusable ice pack and has been coughing since. She is about 60-70 lbs, and the ice pack was mostly intact with just a small amount of the blue substance exposed. She threw up mucus this evening and has been drinking and snacking as usual. Will charcoal pills help, and is there anything else I can do to soothe her throat?

My 8-year-old dog, Princess, pooped blood about ten minutes ago. She has fleas and seems less thirsty than usual. She didn't eat anything unusual, and her first stool was soft and a bit watery. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Hi there, our litter of 8-week-old golden retriever puppies have been doing incredibly well. A couple of the puppies have had super runny poop since being wormed yesterday at the vet (4th time) but they had their first flea treatment too yesterday. A few of them have had a couple of vomits also since then. Is that normal?

My 11-year-old Bernese mix dog, Wapo, has Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). He collapsed on July 30 and has been diagnosed with arthritis, a torn CCL, an enlarged liver, and blood byproducts in his urine. He is currently on Prednisone and antibiotics. He has a history of chronic ear infections and is emotionally traumatized by vet visits. My vet suggested more blood tests, an abdominal CT, and possibly a bone marrow biopsy to find the underlying cause of IMHA, which could be cancer or autoimmune. I'm concerned about the necessity of these tests and the emotional and physical stress they would cause Wapo. How long should we wait to see if he responds to the current treatment, and what are the implications if the underlying cause is cancer or autoimmune?
