My 10-week-old Berdendoodle puppy, Myles, had a used nicotine 8mg pouch in his mouth for about 10 seconds. I removed it before he could swallow it, but I'm worried about potential harm. Myles weighs 12 pounds and had all his shots this morning. He also has a double ear infection and is on medication for that. Could the nicotine pouch have caused any harm, and should I be concerned about his recent vomiting and diarrhea?

The brief contact with the used nicotine pouch is unlikely to have caused any serious harm to Myles....

I believe our 14-year-old dog, Smudge, has a urinary tract infection (UTI). She has been exhibiting frequent attempts to urinate with little or no urine, and she marks a lot, especially when on a walk or camping. She doesn't seem to be in pain and has been in perfect health except for occasional ear infections. What should I do?

My 11.5-week-old Goldendoodle puppy, Penny, had distemper and bordetella shots 4 hours ago and has since vomited twice. She is lethargic and has only had water since vomiting. Should we go to an emergency vet or is there anything we can do at home?

My mini dachshund, Trixie, has recurrent anal gland problems despite eating a diet of Nutrisource small bites seafood and Zignature Duck. She poops twice a day with no issues but intermittently scoots and bites at her bum. Could adding pure pumpkin to her diet help, or is it possible she has become allergic to her food?
