My 5-year-old dog, Baxter, has had loose stool and diarrhea for the past 3 days, with mucus observed this morning. He weighs 25lbs and has not eaten anything unusual, vomited, or is on any medication. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him?

My 45-pound, 8-month-old dog, Leo, ate a small amount of drying floor epoxy about 3 hours ago and has since vomited a few times. He is still acting normally and wants to eat. Do we need to bring him in to the vet, or is this likely just gastrointestinal irritation?
