My 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Aubrey, has had bad breath since adoption over seven years ago. The smell is guttural and worse lately. She prefers soft food more now and has a weaker appetite. She also licks the air or her paws. Her gums are pink and not tender. What could be causing this and what can I do to help?

I have a 6-year-old spayed German Shepherd mix who has been sick for the past two months, displaying symptoms such as coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, and nasal congestion. She has been tested for heartworm, treated for roundworms, and prescribed medications including doxycycline, prednisone, trazadone, and cerenia. Despite these treatments, her symptoms persist, particularly the cough and vomiting, which seem to be worsening. What additional steps or treatments could be considered to help manage her condition?
