My 10-year-old dog, Abby, has had several episodes of soft stool and diarrhea, with some blood noticed on her rear. She seems playful but has been going out frequently. Should I take her to an emergency clinic, or can it wait until morning?

My 9-month-old cocker spaniel has vomited his dinner undigested with some mucus twice in the past three days. There has been no change in diet, but he eats fast and will eat anything he finds outdoors, including grass and sticks. Should I be concerned, and what steps should I take?

My 11-year-old Westie has an ear blockage. It looks like several small pustules or tumors just inside the ear. The ear canal is completely blocked by these growths. She has had ear infections in the past and is a very allergic, itchy dog. We have used Zymox Otic Solution in the past. What should we do?

I have a 14-year-old corgi named Smudge who has been experiencing chronic skin infections, including bacterial infections and now a yeast infection in his ears, as well as new sores under his arms. Despite treatment, the infections keep recurring. What could be causing these persistent infections, and what can be done to help Smudge?

My 18-month-old rottweiler, Amber, has 2 swollen lower nipples. She recently had two puppies and allowed them to suckle for a few minutes. She's not complaining but has been off her food, which suggests discomfort. What can I do for her over the weekend before taking her to the vet on Monday?

Our border terrier, Cruiser, is taking cefpodoxime 50mg for a lick granuloma. He has vomited the last two mornings and it's difficult to get him to eat. I don't want to give him cefpodoxime on an empty stomach. Would Pepto Bismol improve his appetite? Additionally, Cruiser has a flat, subcutaneous, semisolid structure on his foot that may be causing irritation, leading to excessive licking and chewing. Dead skin is peeling off and stuck in his fur over a larger area than the previous infection. Is this normal, and does it suggest a secondary fungus infection?
