My 10-year-old dog, Pixie, has been experiencing bloody stool every few months, which lasts for one day and then stops. She hasn't eaten since yesterday and is currently eating chicken and rice with a small amount of dry dog food. She is alert and napping, but has passed about a teaspoon of blood once. She is not vomiting and her tummy is not enlarged. She is on some digestive medication when she is off her food. What could be causing this and what should I do?
