My 10-year-old German Pinscher, Raider, is drooling, won't get up, and is panting heavily after receiving dewormer from Walmart. She had stopped eating her hard food but was drinking and eating soft food okay. She was fine when I got home from work but is now showing these symptoms. What could be wrong and what should I do?

My dog's left eye is red and has purulent discharge. He is itching it and it appears red in the bottom corner. I noticed the itchiness 2 days ago, and it got worse last night and this morning. He has been rubbing it quite a bit. Tucker is 2.5 years old. Is there anything else the vet should know before I connect with them?
