My 4-year-old American Bulldog female has her tail down and seems to be in pain. She was playing yesterday and flopped on her back, after which she seemed to have pain in her tail and backside. She is very guarded when petting her back and tail, and winces when she has to move around. She also seems uncomfortable when sitting down and walks stiffly. What could be causing her pain, and what should I do?
