My 11-month-old pug, Buca, had an anal gland expression done on Friday, and she is still very uncomfortable, scooting around and sitting instead of walking. We have done hot compresses, but is this normal to still be in pain? Additionally, her vagina may look a little red, but could be from the scooting. She has been pooping normally, but today she hasn’t pooped since this morning and keeps sitting.
