My 11-year-old Havanese, Sammy, has one hip larger than the other, which looks swollen but is not painful. I noticed this in the last few days, and he does not lick the area. He will be 12 in May, and I live in Canada but am currently in the US for the holidays. We will be home in about a month, where I can take him to his regular vet. Could this be an infection, and what can I do in the meantime?

My dog's bum smells metallic, which I believe could be due to her anal glands. My vet is closed for the night, but they open at 8am tomorrow. Is this something that can wait until the morning, or should I take her to an ER tonight? Additionally, is there anything I can do about the smell in the meantime?

My dog, Scooby, a 1-year-and-8-month-old, has been showing symptoms of illness for about a week and a half, including vomiting, shaking, coughing, and diarrhea. He rarely drools, but the shaking just started today. He has received 3-4 sets of vaccinations and the cough sounds like honking. He has not been around other dogs recently, but he goes to a dog park. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do to help him?

Our dog, Leo, is shaking and twitching mostly on his right side. He's also opening and closing his mouth, kind of like a tic. Within the last hour, no coughing, limping, or drooling. Leo is 5 years old. Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you?
