My 11-year-old pitbull, Jinx, suddenly became deaf about a week ago. He isn't shaking his head, and there isn't any smell or discharge from his ears. He was last seen by a vet on February 22 and is on seizure medications (phenobarbital and Keppra) which he has been taking for over 2 years. My vet recommended starting Animax 15 ml twice a day. What could be causing the sudden deafness and what should I do?

The sudden deafness in Jinx could be due to ototoxicity caused by the Nystatin in the Animax medicat...

My dog, Zoom, a 19-pound dog who will be 3 years old next month, got into a travel-sized bottle of Tylenol pills. Three pills were found in his bed with the Tylenol partially licked off, suggesting he may have sucked on them and spit them out.
