My 11-year-old Shih Tzu, Daisy, has been scratching and biting a lot, causing her skin to become red. She has been on Apoquel and Science Diet Z/D for years, and recently I've been giving her Benadryl, but it's not helping. She has a history of allergies and has been treated with Cefpodoxime and Temaril-P in the past, which worked. She is also on a grain-free diet, has an enlarged heart, and a heart murmur. What else can I try to alleviate her itching and skin issues?

My spayed dog, adopted in June, occasionally has a distinct fishy smell and leaves a clear liquid stain on the couch. Is this normal or a sign of something more serious?

My dog, Blue, a 3-month-old, is straining to urinate but shows no blood in her urine, and her appetite remains good. This is the first time she has experienced these symptoms. What could be the cause, and what steps should I take?

My dog chewed up a knitting counter that had a very small watch battery inside. I think he possibly swallowed it. What should I do?

I have a 10-year-old American Bulldog named Bubbah who is likely not going to make it through the next month. Both his back legs are weak, and he can't stand or walk. I need to know what over-the-counter pain relief I can give him, as I can't afford vet medication or a vet visit.
