My 12 1/2-year-old dog, Inu, has had on-and-off diarrhea for the past 48 hours. He has been eating and drinking, but is more subdued and unhappy. He is having frequent, urgent small amounts of soft stool and sometimes strains without producing anything. He has never had accidents before but is now going inside due to urgency. What should I do, and can I wait until I see my vet on Monday if the situation doesn't improve?

I need to put my dog down today due to paralysis from the waist down. My dog is 14 years old, weighs 18lbs, and was last seen by a vet a week ago who thought it was arthritis. I was giving him Novox, but it didn't seem to help. What should I do?

My 12-year-old 15lb terrier mix, Lady, is experiencing bloody diarrhea and vomiting (no blood in vomit) after a recent change in her dog food due to an ice storm delay. She has a history of pancreatitis and is still drinking water, animated, and wagging her tail. What can be done to manage her symptoms at home until she can be seen by a veterinarian?

My dog, a 45-pound golden retriever puppy, ate approximately 8 ounces of Hershey's Hugs (milk and white chocolate treats). What should I do and is there any risk of chocolate toxicity?

One of my dogs ate one of my other dog's medication, a 500 mg tablet of Augmentin. The dog who ate the pill weighs about 20 pounds and it happened about 10 minutes ago. The dog has not thrown up. What should I do and how long should I monitor the dog for any symptoms?
