My dog Chloe, a German Shepherd mix approximately 14 years old, has been suffering from recurring ear infections for the past 7-8 years. She also has severe chin acne, hair loss, thick rubbery skin under her tail and on her elbows, and her belly has turned black. Despite numerous vet visits and treatments, including premium dog food, flea and heartworm medication, and various medications for her skin and ears, the issues persist. What could be causing these problems and what further steps can be taken to address them?
