My 12-week-old King Charles Cavalier puppy, Spice, yelps intermittently and holds her left hind leg off the ground at times. She also bites at her leg and licks an area about an inch down her tail. My dog, Tucker, an Australian Shepherd aged 9, has recurring yeast buildup in his ears despite using ear wash from the vet. The vet suspects it might be thyroid-related, but thyroid testing is not possible until the ear infection is gone. Additionally, Tucker has a type of skin flake that might be related. How can I effectively address and potentially cure this issue?
