My 12-year-old boxer/mastiff mix, Rosie, has a worsening cough despite being on antibiotics for a bladder infection for about 3 weeks. The cough is interfering with her sleep, and her vet can't see her until Saturday. Is there a need to have her seen sooner? We are very worried about her.

My 110-pound German Shepherd, Harley, needs his nails trimmed. I have tried Trazadone, but it seems to have the opposite effect. I don't want to take him to the vet to be sedated. Is there something else I can do?
