I have a 6-7 year old German Shepherd black lab mix named Ares who is overly protective of me, doesn't listen to commands when in that mode, barks at people even after meeting them, and has slight separation anxiety. He also always has his toy in his mouth. Should I seek classes or can I correct this behavior on my own?
