My 12-year-old golden retriever, weighing about 95 lbs, has been in good health except for occasional prolonged reverse cough. This morning, he laid down to sleep and now can't get up. He tried to get up, laid on his back with legs thrashing, had a bowel movement, and threw up. He tried again to get upright but couldn't. He's now laying on his side, resting, with normal breathing. He won't respond to his favorite food and hasn't had water in the last 14 hours. Is it likely to make his situation worse if I try to help him stand? The vet is coming tomorrow at 10 am, and I'm hoping he has vestibular disease and may recover. He's current on all shots and lives indoors. How long does it take for them to get seriously dehydrated?

My dog, Murray, is throwing up. He's 3 and a half years old, and he's vomited three times today: once with yellow bile, once with food, and once projectile vomiting. He's drinking a lot of water, which is unusual for him, and he still has an appetite but is trying to eat more after vomiting. He recently stayed with a dog sitter who has a new puppy. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him?

I have a two-year-old pit mix named Bella who is very anxious and wags her tail so hard it bleeds. She is now chewing on her tail, making it worse. I've tried wrapping it, using antibiotic cream, cleaning it with peroxide, putting children's shorts on her to prevent chewing, and using liquid band-aid, but nothing has worked. What should I do to help Bella's tail heal?

I have a 4-year-old wolf hybrid named Storm with arthritis in his lower back and hip dysplasia, which causes him to occasionally bite his back leg due to a pinched nerve. He is currently on Joint-Q supplements and cannabis oil, but I am considering switching to Arthrexin. What is your experience with Arthrexin and are there any long-term negative effects for dogs?
