My 12-year-old rescue dog, Kobe, has severe irritation around his eye socket, which looks like a sore or infection. He has lost a lot of weight and has not been eating. I noticed this issue a while ago but couldn't get him seen due to COVID. Kobe had cherry eye in the past, which might have become infected. What could be causing this, and what should I do?
