My 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Jake, has had a lot of milky eye discharge in his right eye for the last 3 weeks, which has turned greenish and crusty over the last 8 days. This morning, his eye was closed shut, and I had to use warm water to open it and remove the crust. What could be causing this and what should I do?
