He still acts like a puppy when outside, trotting, running, and rolling. What kind of food should I be feeding him, and is the current amount enough?

Our dog swallowed a sock Saturday morning and it has not passed through his system as of Monday at 4:30. He is not eating and is having trouble with his tongue. He sleeps a little more than usual during the day, had a good run this morning but hasn’t eaten since Sunday morning.
