My 13-week-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever Malamute mix, estimated to weigh around 10-15 pounds, swallowed a nickel about a day ago and has not passed it yet. What can be done for a 7 lbs Maltese named Tilly, aged 14 years, who has been experiencing stomach pain for 2 weeks, has not eaten in over a week, and is currently gasping for air and crying out? The vet prescribed 22.7 mg enrofloxan and 40 mg sucralfate for a stomach ulcer, but the symptoms have not improved.
