My 13-year-old bulldog, Attie, has been limping for three days and is reluctant to put weight on her front leg. She was diagnosed with TCC bladder cancer in February and has undergone three rounds of chemotherapy, taking Piroxicam daily. Today, I noticed her leg is ice cold and pale compared to her other limbs. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her while waiting for her vet appointment?

I have an almost 2-year-old German Shepherd that was castrated about 4 months ago. I noticed light hair loss and a change in his guarding behavior. Could he need a testosterone supplement, and if so, how do I get it? He gets plenty of exercise, a premium diet, and bone/cartilage supplements.

My 13 LB 11 yr. old chihuahua was diagnosed with diabetes 10 days ago. Her blood glucose level was 411, and she was started on 3 units of Humulin N 100, then switched to 5 units, and later to 3 units of Lantus, and then to Humulin 70/30. She has been experiencing severe panting, increased appetite, and crashes into sleep after injections. Her blood glucose remains around 400, and she has had high triglycerides, high ketones, and intermittent vomiting and diarrhea. Is this panting normal, and will it get under control? Should I be concerned about her condition, and what should I do next?

We are considering adopting a rescue Lhasa Apso who is missing 3 toes from her right paw. She walks but limps and licks it when she sits. She is approximately 4 years old. Since she is a rescue dog, we do not know how the toes were damaged. One of her nails appears extremely long. Do you think we will have long-term issues if we consider the adoption?
