My dog, Luke, was possibly bitten by a copperhead. His neck and jaw are swollen, and he's lethargic, only eating tiny bites of chicken hand-fed by me, and only gets up once a day for bathroom and water. I've been giving him diphenhydramine, 25mg every 12 hours, but I can't afford to take him to the vet. The swelling in his neck may have gone down slightly, but it's hard to tell. What else can I do to help him?

My dog, Lindsey, a 4-5 year old Chihuahua menpen mix, has had diarrhea for about 2 days. She has been eating grass and running in the grass before this started. We have been feeding her chicken and rice, but it doesn't seem to help. There is no blood in her feces, no vomiting, and no other symptoms besides the diarrhea, which is very mucusy. She is still eating and playing. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?
