My 13-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Belle, has open sores that are red, warm to the touch, and have pimple-like bumps that seep green discharge. The sores start small and spread, with the worst area being on her hip, about 6 inches round. She has had about 12 different areas affected, some of which have healed but without hair regrowth. I give her weekly baths and wash the affected areas daily with diluted iodine. She has been on antibiotics and prednisone since the first vet visit, and has undergone many tests without a diagnosis. Additionally, she sleeps a lot, has started peeing inside, and drinks a lot of water when she goes to get a drink. What could be causing these issues and what further tests or treatments should be considered?

My foster dog, Molly, age 5, ate 1 or 2 small plastic votive candles without the batteries last night. What should I feed her for breakfast now, and should I be concerned about her digestion?

I have a Jack Russell Australian Cattle Dog mix named Oreo, who is around 1.5 years old. I've noticed a ball-like swelling on either side of his penis, about the size of a nickel. It doesn't seem to bother him too much, but it causes some discomfort. Massaging it temporarily relieves the swelling, but it comes back after a while. What could this swelling be, and is it something I should be concerned about?

My dog, Wapo, a 18-19 year old beagle, is having trouble with his back legs and stepping up. He still eats well, can see, and has no issues with bathroom use, but I suspect he has arthritis in his hips. Is there something I can give him for pain?

My border collie has an issue with the tissue around her nail on her hind leg. There is a cut that has been hurting her, and she can walk on it but favors the other leg a bit. The wound is not bleeding or infected and hasn't changed much in a week's time. She is licking the affected nail. What could be the issue, and what should I do?
