My 13-year-old Shih Tzu, Ducla, is experiencing vomiting, not drinking water, not moving, coughing, and has sick-looking eyes. She vomits both liquidy and foamy substances with food in it, but she hasn't eaten anything unusual. Her regular vet refused to take her, and the closest emergency vet is far away. What could be causing her symptoms, and what should I do?

My dog, Will, has had loose, mucus-filled poop since yesterday afternoon. He's a 17 lb, 1/4 chihuahua and multi-terrier mix, about five years old, and has had diarrhea almost once per month. He eats poop and has been eating only canned food for a while. I tried pumpkin and baby cereal for his diarrhea but they didn't work. Can I give him a bit of Imodium?
